What is a Transformational Life Coach?

A Transformational Life Coach guides individuals in achieving personal growth, and self discovery, for a desired transformation.

They empower individuals to create meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. The coaching approach uses self-awareness as a foundational aspect to transform. Know Thy Self!

With a holistic approach, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of life are simultaneously addressed. You are guided to set clear, inspiring and achievable goals. We will explore underlying beliefs, behaviours, and thought patterns that subconsciously influences your every decision. You will be supported and held accountable to the vision, objectives, and commitments you set for yourself.

You will be provided with personalized guidance, effective tools and strategies to achieve the life transformation you are seeking.

A Transformational Life Coach is committed to helping individuals break free from limitations, unlock their potential, and live a more fulfilling and authentic life.

How will working with me be different than other things you've tried?

As a transformational Life Coach I view our working relationship as a collaboration, jointly participating and taking responsibility for establishing clear focus, pace, and content with which to create the desired transformation results you are seeking. Make no mistake, I am looking for a Win-Win relationship, When you win, I win, and when I win, you win. This is a team effort.

I will hold you accountable to the vision, objectives, and commitments you set for yourself, by encouraging you to employ the "smallest steps" habit change techniques, and keeping you on track with creating an atmosphere of success.

We will celebrate your successes each week by identifying all the ways in which you are transforming your life, and yourself. While this may sound trivial, it is highly significant. The human mind is 10x more inclined to notice "negative" things than "positive". While this is necessary for survival, what we deem negative has become perverted in our ultra fear based culture, clouding our perception of all things. It is crucial in this work to retrain your mind to find greater balance in how you view yourself and the world.

I will challenge you. This work together will change how you see yourself and the world around you. In essence it will shift your identity. Transformation at this level will at times feel uncomfortably disruptive. In order to gain new insights rather than merely rearranging preexisting thoughts, you must be willing to question everything you think you know.

I'm really good at helping people see things in a new way. Gaining perspective beyond our personal struggles can be a challenge because it requires tapping into a deeper level of self-understanding beyond our thinking mind and the deeply subconscious framework on which it is based. I am highly skilled at providing an unconventional perspective, prolific insight, and perceptive observations. I will share with you all the wisdom and postulations I've gained from my experiences, knowledge, and intuition, affording you the opportunity to see things from outside the confines of your viewpoint.

What does it cost?

Let's get real. Change is uncomfortable and requires energy. Without a meaningful commitment of time, energy, and money you will not succeed in this program. I only work with people who are ready to make the dedicated commitment to change their lives for the better. As noted above, my goal is a Win-Win collaboration. If you are ready to fully commit to investing in your own well-being, The Health & Lifestyle Transformational Coaching Package is GUARANTEED* to work. The integrated methods I use, and my expertise, lead to lasting effective results.

Typical Transformational Life Coaching fees range from 75-200$ per hour. I choose to charge package rates based on a sliding scale within this range. I believe that everyone who needs help and is ready to do the work is deserving of quality service regardless of financial status. Also, the science of habit change tells us that we are more likely to be motivated, committed, and successful when we pay for service according to the edge of our means.

I believe that those who seek me will find me. And here your are! I invite you to step into what your Spirit brought you here for today. I can show you how!

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a 5000 year old comprehensive medical and wellness system based on living in harmony with the natural cycles of life. Ayurveda identifies each individual  as unique in their biological and psychological make-up (Dosha), as such requiring an equally unique health program for appropriately complete wellness. Ayurveda aims to promote overall well-being by balancing the Doshas and addressing the root cause of illness. It is particularly effective in healing chronic illness using diet, lifestyle, and self-care as a core treatment focus.

By integrating Ayurvedic principles with Transformational Life Coaching methodologies individuals gain a deeper understanding of themselves, aiding in establishing a balanced lifestyle, and work towards transformation in various aspects of their lives. Here are a few key aspects of Ayurveda as they pertain to Transformational Life Coaching:

  • Understanding one's unique body-mind type (Dosha) helps in tailoring lifestyle, diet, and self-care practices.
  • Incorporates awareness of natural (circadian) rhythms, and recommends lifestyle adjustments based on seasonal changes to maintain balance.
  • Promotes daily routine (Dinacharya) to establish balance and well-being.
  • Includes detoxification (Panchakarma) practices for the body, as well as the mind, helping clients release limiting beliefs, emotions, trauma, and behaviours that no longer serve them.
  • Recognizes the body's inherent intelligence which acts as a guide for clients to tap into their inner wisdom and intuition to make choices aligned with their authentic selves.

What is Yoga?

Yoga is a lifestyle tool.  Unfortunately with the commercialization of Yoga, we tend to view at it as a trendy sport or form of exercise (asana). While it can be beneficial physically, in actuality it is a profound system of self-actualization that touches every aspect of life. At its core, it is a tool that helps us to cultivate greater self-awareness through breath-body physical practices, in addition to and supported by spiritual and ethical contemplations. This combination of practices has a direct impact on our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual state of being which is both immediate and deeply penetrating when practices with regularity, and consistency over time, integrating into the very essence of your very being.Yoga means union. And a key aspect of this is the harmonious integration of human and spiritual aspects of being.

Any and all bodies can Yoga! You do not need to be flexible. Nor do you need to wear spandex ;) Yoga is not about following a class in a room filled with people, that asks you to push yourself into painful positions. Yoga accepts you as you are, where you are. Remember that the purpose of Yoga is union with your spirit through movement and ethical contemplations. If you can breathe, you can Yoga. When you approach Yoga from an understanding that is beyond just the postures as it is intended, every movement, every breath, every thought provide insight and opportunity for healing.

Yoga is also not a one size fits all activity. When viewed through an Ayurvedic lens (Yoga is after-all the sister science to Ayurveda), what is appropriate Yoga for you is dependant on your body mind-type, as well as many other circumstances.

In this sense Yoga is used in coaching as a therapeutic tool which has been scientifically proven to produce profound results for your physical mobility and flexibility, your mental and emotional health including stress management and nervous system regulation, and ultimately your relationship with yourself and others. Here are a few key aspects of Yoga as it pertains to Transformational Life Coaching:

  • Integrating simple yoga postures based on your unique body-mind type (Dosha) and life circumstance promotes strength, flexibility, and balance.
  • Promotes awareness of the mind-body connection, such as progressive muscle relaxation or body-mind centering techniques.
  • Simple breath awareness techniques to promote relaxation, focus, and nervous system regulation.
  • Employs meditation practices to enhance present-moment awareness and reduce mental-chatter.
  • Incorporates body scan techniques to increase awareness of physical sensations and promote relaxation.
  • Discusses and explores the ethical principles of yoga (Yamas and Niyamas) in the context of personal development.

What is Somatics?

The overall aim of Somatic methods are to promote self-discovery, healing, and personal transformation through a deepened connection with the body. The term "somatic" comes from the Greek word "soma", which means the living body in its wholeness. It is the perception and experience of our body from within. It recognizes the importance of the body as a source of wisdom, self-awareness, and transformation.

Somatic approaches are often integrated into other therapeutic modalities to enhance their effectiveness. Here are a few key aspects of Somatics as it pertains to Transformational Life Coaching:

  • Emotional experiences, thoughts, and physical sensations are considered integral and interconnected aspects of an individual's lived experience.
  • Developing awareness of bodily sensations, movement, and postures. The idea is that by paying attention to the body, individuals can gain insight into their emotional states and patterns of behaviour.
  • Encourages individuals to explore their own bodies and engage in self-care practices. This may involve activities such as self-massage, gentle movements, or relaxation techniques.

What is the science of Habit Change Techniques?

The science of Habit Change involves understanding the psychological and neurological processes that underlie the formation, maintenance, and transformation of habits. Habit change techniques are informed by research in various fields including psychology, neuroscience, and behavioural science. By applying straightforward proven habit transformation techniques in combination with nature's life laws (Ayurveda), you will make enduring holistic change that will reshape your mind, body, and spirit, offering you a fresh perspective on life. Here are a few key aspects of Habit Change Techniques as they pertain to Transformational Life Coaching:

  • Assisting clients in recognizing the triggers and cues that lead to their habits. Understanding the context in which habits occurs is crucial for implementing effective change strategies.
  • Encouraging clients to keep a journal or track their behaviours to increase awareness. This helps in identifying patterns, understanding the reasons behind habits, and recognizing progress.
  • Adopting a smallest steps mindset via positive reinforcement and celebration of all success. Acknowledging achievements, no matter how small boosts motivation and creates a positive mindset centered on creating an atmosphere of success.
  • Utilizing mindfulness practices to increase awareness of thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Mindfulness helps clients consciously respond to triggers rather than reacting automatically from possible outdated or misguided belief patterns.
